I’m building my second brain. First, it needs to know how I talk. My words, my decisions, why I made them and what matters to me. I want every agent I use to understand that.
I already have an old version. I built the template myself, but I haven’t touched it in a long time. Things changed. So I’m going through it step by step.
The prompt on my screen asks for a voice library built from my own messages. Real examples of how I talk, the phrases I use and the words behind them. That is the base I want the agents to work from.

The problems are simple. I need an easy way to leave a note. I want to know what is happening in my emails, messages and projects. I don’t want to miss stuff, and I don’t want to be bothered by it.
Then I need a recap. I have millions of ideas. I can be working on one thing, get another idea and start working on that. When I come back, I want to remember what I decided and why.
I open the old notes page, and I can’t even click on things. That part needs work too.
I want any of my agents to follow the same note format. But I stop before building more. If I dictate three or five minutes of thoughts, how does the agent turn that into simple notes in my language?
The answer on screen says a transcript already keeps my own words. A voice library can come later, for text that speaks for me.
I push back. How would it summarize the note in a way I like if it doesn’t know how I speak?
Shout out to Nicolas Cole and Greg Isenberg. Their conversation about writing with AI helped me think about this voice library.
I’ve played basketball for more than 20 years. I’ve done interviews and recorded videos. There are years of things I’ve already said. I have agents looking for that material so I can use it to build the library.
Every new transcript can add more. What I like to say. What I don’t like to say. How I like an answer: the answer, an explanation and a real-life example.
My typos don’t belong in that library as rules to copy. I make mistakes when I type. Dictation makes mistakes too. Fix those. Keep my words.
I want to give it the base of me.
