The three options
I'm still figuring out which of these promises I'd trust. Tell me which one you'd pick and why.
- Collect the company's information into one cluster and let a cloud AI provider read it. That's the less secure route, because everything goes through them.
- Run it on a dedicated machine you own, like a Mac mini or a Mac Studio. With a local model, the data stays on that machine.
- Go to a cloud provider selling confidential cloud GPUs, where the promise is that they have no way to reach your data.
